What is a winding up petition?
A winding up petition involves completing a Company Court Check to determine whether a company is being liquidated or in provisional liquidation. The search checks the central London terminal to identify any winding up petition. This is the case when a company owes £750 or more, and a creditor can issue a petition in court.
