Starting out in a small office above a co-op in a village in Surrey in July 2015, we had a big vision for making the conveyancing process easier and better for everyone involved. Our role in achieving this is to provide conveyancers with the best technology available to them at every step in the process.
It wasn’t long before we launched our first major innovation, allowing our clients to submit digital AP1s through our platform in 2016. This set us on an exciting new path and was the beginning of our digital conveyancing journey.
Since then, we’ve worked with thousands of conveyancing professionals to help them tackle some of the biggest challenges the sector faces – from increasing regulatory requirements to aligning technology and service delivery with home mover expectations. And what a journey it’s been.
2017
2017 saw us welcome many new case management integration partners, and 75% of orders are now completed via CMS integration. And in 2018 we built some amazing internal software so we could deliver searches better and faster for our clients.
2019
In 2019 we launched eCOS, our electronic client onboarding solution, to help firms onboard clients quicker and more securely from any location. While it was met with a little apprehension to begin with, the use of digital ID verification and source of funds checks has grown substantially since then. As of February 2024, 76% of firms are using digital ID checks, which is a huge win for conveyancers and their clients.
2020
In July 2020, in the grip of the pandemic HMLR announced that they would accept electronically signed deeds for the first time. Within two weeks InfoTrack launched SignIT for Deeds, a product that continues to be popular to this day.
